Jon Rahm’s participation in the Ryder Cup remains uncertain as the debate over his eligibility to play for Europe continues. Rahm, a Spanish golfer currently residing in the United States, has been granted a Worldwide Tour Membership by the European Tour, but the tour’s regulations state that players must reside in Europe for three of the past five years to be eligible for the team. Rahm has not lived in Europe since 2016, and the European Tour has not yet made a decision on his eligibility. The Ryder Cup is scheduled for September 24-26, 2021.
