Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis’ request for a temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction against Georgia State Senate subpoenas was denied on Friday, according to a report by Atlanta News First. The subpoenas were issued as part of an investigation into potential election interference in the 2020 presidential election. Willis argued that the subpoenas were overly broad and violated executive privilege. The judge, however, ruled that the subpoenas were valid and that Willis had not provided sufficient evidence to warrant an injunction.
