Justin Timberlake pleaded guilty on Thursday to a misdemeanor charge of driving while intoxicated in Sag Harbor, New York. The pop star, 41, was arrested on January 16 after police found him asleep at the wheel of his car, which was parked on the side of the road. He failed a field sobriety test and was charged with DWI and reckless endangerment. Timberlake’s plea came during a virtual court hearing. He was fined $560, ordered to pay a $400 surcharge, and given a conditional discharge. He also agreed to attend a Drinking Driver Program and submit to DNA testing. The singer apologized for his actions in a statement, saying, ‘I am deeply sorry for the inconvenience I caused.’
