Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) announced on Tuesday that they have signed Brazilian forward Carlos Vela to a multi-year contract extension. Vela, 31, has been with LAFC since their inaugural season in 2018 and has scored 57 goals in 81 appearances for the club. He was the MLS Most Valuable Player in 2019 and has helped lead LAFC to the playoffs in each of their three seasons.
