A man was arrested for driving under the influence after crashing into a power pole in Atascadero on Saturday night. The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. on El Camino Real near the intersection with Morro Road. The man, whose identity was not released, was the only occupant of the vehicle. No other vehicles were involved in the crash. The power pole was severely damaged and PG&E crews were called to the scene to repair the damage and restore power to the area.
