Marshawn Lynch, Mike Macdonald Reunite on Seahawks Sideline in Week 1

Marshawn Lynch made his return to the NFL in Week 1, suiting up for the Seattle Seahawks against the Denver Broncos. Lynch, who retired in 2019, was brought back to help bolster the team’s running game in the absence of injured starter Chris Carson. During the game, Lynch was seen on the sideline receiving advice from a familiar face: former Seahawks offensive line coach Mike Solari, who was replaced by Mike Macdonald this offseason. Macdonald, who now serves as Seattle’s assistant head coach and run game coordinator, was Lynch’s position coach during his first stint with the team from 2014 to 2015.
