Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan and Democratic nominee for governor Wes Moore’s running mate, Baltimore County Executive Angela Alsobrooks, clashed over police reform during their first debate Tuesday. Hogan defended his record on the issue, while Alsobrooks accused him of not doing enough. Hogan said he supported body cameras for police officers and increased funding for schools and mental health services. Alsobrooks countered that Hogan had not done enough to address systemic racism and police misconduct in Maryland.
