Matt Walsh, co-owner of the Philadelphia 76ers, is in advanced talks to buy the New Zealand Breakers basketball team. Walsh could also become the majority owner of the Sixers’ Bahamas affiliate, the Bahamas Big Stars. The deals are subject to approval from the National Basketball League and the Basketball Bahamas Federation.
