Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team has a new backup quarterback, 20-year-old Steve Angeli. Angeli, a redshirt freshman, hails from Cincinnati, Ohio, and walked on to the team in 2019. He has been impressing the coaches with his performance in practice and was named the backup to starter Drew Pyne. Angeli is known for his strong arm and quick release.
