A comedian and Meta Platforms are being sued by a company that created an artificial intelligence character which bears a striking resemblance to a character voiced by Sarah Silverman in a Meta advertisement. The company, Imagia, claims that Meta and Silverman used its AI character without permission. Meta’s CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, was deposed in the case.
