New York Mets first baseman Pete Alonso hit his 10th home run of the season in the sixth inning against the Miami Marlins on Wednesday, breaking the National League rookie home run record. Alonso’s solo shot came off Marlins starter Caleb Smith and traveled an estimated 451 feet.
