The New York Mets advanced to the National League Championship Series (NLCS) with a 5-4 win over the Atlanta Braves in 13 innings on Saturday. Eduardo Escobar hit a two-run double in the top of the 13th inning to give the Mets the lead. Braves pitcher Will Smith allowed the go-ahead runs, taking the loss. The Mets will face the San Diego Padres in the NLCS, which begins on Saturday.
