A Mexican mayor was found decapitated on Monday, according to local reports. Authorities believe the mayor was killed by drug gangs. The victim, identified as Maria Elena Morera, was the mayor of the town of Tlahualilo in the northern state of San Luis Potosi. Morera’s body was discovered near a road, with her head missing. No group has yet claimed responsibility for the crime.
