Mexico has filed a lawsuit against several American gun manufacturers and dealers, accusing them of allowing firearms to be illegally exported to Mexico, where they are used in crimes. The lawsuit, filed in California, alleges that the defendants have violated the U.S. Foreign and Arms Export Control Act by failing to prevent the export of guns that end up at crime scenes in Mexico.
