Miami-Dade Commissioner Raquel Regalado pleaded not guilty to federal charges of making false statements to a financial institution and wire fraud on Thursday. Regalado, 42, was indicted by a federal grand jury on Wednesday. She is accused of lying about her income and assets on loan applications in 2015 and 2016.
