Missouri Attorney General to Help Crack Down on Intoxicating Hemp Products

Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt announced on Thursday that his office will work with the Missouri Department of Agriculture to enforce regulations against the sale of intoxicating hemp products. The announcement comes after the department received complaints about the sale of products containing THC, the psychoactive compound in marijuana, which is not allowed in hemp products under state law. Schmitt’s office will provide legal guidance and resources to help the department investigate and take enforcement action against violators.
