Missouri Governor Asked to Stop Execution of Marcellus Williams

The Innocence Project is urging Missouri Governor Mike Parson to stop the September 24 execution of Marcellus Williams, who was convicted of murdering a police officer in 2001. New evidence, including testimony from a forensic scientist, has come to light that casts doubt on Williams’ guilt. The Innocence Project is asking the public to call Parson’s office and urge him to grant Williams a stay of execution.
