Major League Baseball (MLB) announced the 2021 postseason format and dates. The playoffs will begin on October 5 with the Wild Card Series, featuring six teams. The Division Series will start on October 8, followed by the Championship Series on October 14. The World Series is scheduled to begin on October 26 and end no later than October 31. The National League will host the All-Star Game on July 13 at Coors Field in Denver.
