The Montana Democratic Party has nominated attorney and former state lawmaker John Tester-Jacobsen as its nominee for the state Supreme Court. Tester-Jacobsen, who previously served in the Montana House of Representatives, was selected from a field of three candidates during the party’s virtual convention on Saturday. He will face Republican nominee James Brown in the general election. The seat is currently held by Justice Jim Rice, who is retiring.
