Musgrove Rebounds, Padres Spring Forward with Rout of Giants

The San Diego Padres bounced back from a disappointing series loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers with a dominant 12-1 victory over the San Francisco Giants on Tuesday. Mitch Musgrove, making his first start since being recalled from the minors, pitched six strong innings, allowing just one run on three hits. The Padres’ offense came alive, scoring in every inning but one and collecting 15 hits. Fernando Tatis Jr. and Wil Myers each homered, while Jake Cronenworth drove in three runs. The win moved the Padres back into first place in the National League West.
