Myanmar’s Military Chief Calls for Foreign Aid After Deadly Floods

Myanmar’s military chief, Min Aung Hlaing, has appealed for foreign aid to help the country recover from deadly floods that have killed more than 100 people and displaced hundreds of thousands. The military-controlled government declared a state of emergency in several regions affected by the floods, which were caused by heavy monsoon rains.
