Netflix has unveiled the premiere date, first look teaser, and images for Part One of Tyler Perry’s first Netflix drama series, ‘Beauty in Black’. The eight-episode series, which is a modern retelling of the classic fairy tale ‘Beauty and the Beast’, will debut on the streaming platform on December 2, 2022. The series follows the story of Joanna (played by Naomi Ackie), a successful executive who, after a tragic car accident, becomes a resident in a mysterious healing center. There, she meets and falls in love with the center’s enigmatic owner, Dr. Elias (played by Mark Consuelos). The series also stars Michael Ealy, Aunjanue Ellis, and Natasha Rothwell.
