New Study Shows Benefits of Walking in Nature

A new study published in the journal Environmental Research found that walking in nature improves mood and reduces stress levels. The study, which was conducted over six weeks, involved participants taking a 90-minute walk in a natural environment once a week. Results showed that those who walked in nature experienced significant reductions in cortisol levels, a hormone associated with stress, compared to those who walked in urban areas.
