Paramount Pictures has announced that the long-awaited sequel to the 1986 classic ‘Top Gun’, titled ‘Top Gun: Maverick’, will hit theaters on May 27, 2022. The news was shared in a new trailer released on Tuesday, which features Tom Cruise reprising his iconic role as Pete ‘Maverick’ Mitchell. The film also stars Miles Teller, Jennifer Connelly, and Val Kilmer.
