Nimitz Middle School in Houston, Texas, was placed on lockdown on Thursday afternoon following reports of a gun on campus. Authorities are currently investigating the situation and have not yet determined if the gun was an actual firearm or a hoax. Students and staff were advised to shelter in place while law enforcement conducted a thorough search of the school. No injuries have been reported at this time.
