OpenAI’s Chief Technology Officer, Mira Murati, announced her departure from the company on Tuesday. Murati joined OpenAI in 2016 and oversaw the development of the company’s large language model, ChatGPT. Her departure comes after the recent layoffs of around 10% of the company’s workforce. The reason for her departure is not yet known.
