Herbstreit, a college football analyst for ESPN and a former Ohio State quarterback, was in attendance at Reser Stadium. Boomer, a golden retriever, was diagnosed with cancer and passed away last week. The Ducks displayed a ‘Boomer’ sign on their scoreboard and held a moment of silence for the beloved pet.
