The Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres faced off in Game 1 of the National League Division Series on Monday. In the top of the eighth inning, Dodgers’ third baseman Justin Turner was hit by a pitch from Padres’ reliever Daniel Ludwick. Turner charged the mound, leading to a benches-clearing brawl. Both Turner and Padres’ third baseman Manny Machado were ejected from the game. The incident added fuel to the long-standing rivalry between the two teams.
