Paul Mescal and Denzel Washington are in negotiations to join Ridley Scott’s ‘Gladiator 2’. Sources tell Variety that the project, which has been in development for years, is gaining momentum with the potential addition of the two actors. The original ‘Gladiator’ starred Russell Crowe and won the Academy Award for Best Picture in 2000.
