A grand jury in the US state of Hawaii has indicted Filipino televangelist and self-proclaimed religious leader Apollo Quiboloy on charges of sex trafficking and forced labor, according to court documents unsealed Thursday. Quiboloy, who leads the Kingdom of Jesus Christ ministry, is also known as the ‘Appointed Son of God’. The indictment alleges that Quiboloy and his co-conspirators recruited and transported women and children from the Philippines to the US for forced labor and sex acts. Quiboloy, who has denied the allegations, is currently in the Philippines and has not been arrested.
