VATICAN CITY (AP) — Pope Francis expressed hope for peace and unity in the U.S. presidential election, urging Americans to respect the results and come together as a nation. In his annual World Day of Peace message, Francis acknowledged the deep divisions in the United States and around the world, but urged people to look beyond their differences and work for the common good.
