The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a vandalism incident at a Hindu temple in Elk Grove as a hate crime. The temple was spray-painted with swastikas and other symbols early on Sunday morning. Witnesses reported seeing a person wearing all black and a mask in the area around the time of the incident. The temple’s president, Rajan Zed, condemned the act and called for peace and unity.
