A Scottish court has rejected a bid by Alex Salmond, the former first minister of Scotland, to quash sex misconduct charges against him. Salmond, 66, is accused of 14 allegations of sexual misconduct by 9 women during his time in office. The charges include inappropriate touching and making inappropriate comments. The case is expected to go to trial in January 2021.
