The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service is investigating after receiving a call that went unanswered during a 999 emergency. The call, which came from a mobile phone, lasted for just over a minute and was made at around 11pm on Monday. Firefighters were dispatched to the location given in the call but found nothing. The service is now trying to trace the origin of the call and is appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
