Swiss police have detained several people following the discovery of a dead man in a suicide capsule in Basel. The man, believed to be in his 50s, was found in a capsule rented from the Exit International organisation, which promotes assisted suicide. The organisation’s founder, Philip Nitschke, is among those detained and is expected to be questioned about the incident. The rental and use of suicide capsules is illegal in Switzerland.
