Several students at Walter Reed Middle School in Studio City were sickened after being exposed to a possible substance on campus. The Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) confirmed that multiple students were transported to hospitals as a precaution. The cause of the illnesses is under investigation, and the school was evacuated and closed for the day. LAUSD officials said they are working with local health and safety agencies to determine the source of the substance.
