A bomb threat during a campaign rally for Donald Trump in Springfield, Ohio, on Saturday forced the evacuation of the venue, but no explosive device was found. The event was being held at the Greene County Fairgrounds, where Trump was scheduled to speak to a large crowd. The rally was abruptly halted when a bomb threat was called in to the local sheriff’s office. The fairgrounds were evacuated, and the Secret Service and bomb-sniffing dogs were called to the scene. After a thorough search, no explosive device was found.
