Starbucks Corp. Chief Executive Officer Brian Niccol is focusing on digital initiatives, delivery and drive-thru expansion to boost sales and profits. Niccol, who took over as CEO in April 2019, is aiming to increase digital sales by 10% in the current fiscal year, which ends in October. He also plans to double the number of Starbucks Rewards members in the U.S. by the end of 2022. In addition, Starbucks is investing in delivery partnerships with Uber Technologies Inc. and DoorDash Inc., and expanding its drive-thru business.
