A new map from the Senior Citizens League reveals which states will receive the smallest cost-of-living adjustments (COLAs) for Social Security benefits in 2023. The states expected to see the lowest increases include West Virginia, Missouri, and Montana, with projected COLAs of 1.6 percent. The average COLA for 2023 is projected to be 2.8 percent.
