Margaret Thatcher compared the aftermath of the IRA’s Brighton bombing to ‘something out of the Blitz’ in newly-revealed footage. The former Prime Minister made the comment in a 1984 interview with ITN, as she surveyed the damage caused by the bombing that targeted her party conference.
