Thiago Motta scored a late equalizer as Empoli held Juventus to a 1-1 draw in the Italian Serie A on Saturday. The midfielder, who joined Empoli on loan from Boca Juniors in the summer, netted in the 89th minute to deny Juventus a win at the Carlo Castellani stadium. The result leaves Juventus in third place, three points behind leaders Napoli and Inter Milan.
