The Detroit Tigers came close to pitching a no-hitter in their game against the Seattle Mariners on Tuesday, but fell short in the ninth inning. Tigers pitcher Spencer Turnbull threw eight no-hit innings before giving up a single to Kyle Seager. Turnbull finished the game with a complete game, one-hit shutout.
