Tollywood choreographer and Jana Sena leader Raju Sundaram was accused of sexual assault by a woman who worked as a dancer in his troupe. The incident allegedly took place in Chennai in 2017. The victim filed a complaint with the Chennai Police on Tuesday, 22nd March 2022. The police registered a case under IPC sections 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) and 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation).
