U.S. President Donald Trump has sent two sets of coronavirus tests to his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, the Kremlin said on Monday, as the global death toll from the pandemic neared 500,000. The White House confirmed the tests were sent as a goodwill gesture, but did not say when they were dispatched.
