Turkey has signed a long-term deal with TotalEnergies to import liquefied natural gas (LNG). The deal, which is expected to last for 15 years, will see TotalEnergies supply Turkey with around 2.5 million tons of LNG per year. The agreement comes as Turkey seeks to reduce its reliance on Russian natural gas following tensions between the two countries.
