The Energy Information Administration (EIA) reported that the United States exported a record 11.2 billion cubic feet per day (Bcf/d) of natural gas in 2021. This surpasses the previous record of 10.8 Bcf/d set in 2019. The increase in exports was driven by higher demand from Europe and Asia, as well as increased production in the U.S.
