UCLA football coach Deshaun Foster updated the status of injured offensive lineman Jake Burdeau during a press conference on Monday. Burdeau, a redshirt sophomore, suffered an undisclosed injury during the Bruins’ spring game on April 16. Foster did not provide a timetable for Burdeau’s return, but indicated that the lineman is making progress in his recovery. The Bruins open their 2022 season on September 3 against Hawaii.
