The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC) has announced that soccer legend Mia Hamm will be the commencement speaker for the Class of 2025. Hamm, a two-time Olympic gold medalist and two-time FIFA World Cup champion, played soccer for UNC from 1987 to 1991. She is considered one of the greatest soccer players of all time.
