The University of Northern Iowa (UNI) football team is making changes following its bye week. Head coach Mark Farley announced that redshirt freshman quarterback, Will McElvain, will start in place of senior Kyle Marshall for the Panthers’ game against Missouri State. Additionally, defensive coordinator, Jay Bateman, has been relieved of his duties and will be replaced by defensive analyst, J.L. Panterra. The team is also working to improve its special teams unit.
