United Airlines (UAL) reported third-quarter earnings on Friday, with the airline posting a profit of $1.1 billion, or $2.32 per share, compared to a loss of $1.2 billion, or $2.58 per share, in the same period last year. The company’s revenue came in at $10.6 billion, up from $5.4 billion in the third quarter of 2020. The results beat analysts’ expectations for earnings of $1.68 per share on revenue of $10.4 billion.
